low GI and low sugar diet
7 Answers
I am about to be started on prednisolone, which is likely to result in me getting a moonface. Booo to prednisolone. My self esteem is not great at the best of times and I am dreading this.
Ive been told that a low salt, low sugar and low GI diet will 'help'.
If the diet was strictly low GI, I would be able to eat plenty of fruit. However, fruit contains a lot of sugar and I am a bit confused as to whether I should avoid fruit and stock up on veggies instead.
Can anyone help?

I was weaned off the tablets over a few weeks and my hair returned to normal thank goodness! I haven't told you this to scare you mandi but just be aware .......
