I had a taster reflexology but i want to try the full one...ill mabye look up college...they do discount massages etc cos people are learning but i dont mind im just happy to be pampered!
What was the chinese one like brinj? Id like that...i like a firm massage...the swedish one was sore but OH SO good....
Last massage i had she recommended i go 4/6wkly because my "back was like a brick wall"...... I dont have the money to go so often xx
I trained in Swedish massage for a year and we had to be good before we were let loose on the public who came in for a discounted treatment. Clients could afford a weekly massage so give that a try Tink.
Agree with Mark about reflexology.
Reflexology is just the best thing ever! First time I had it done, I cried like a baby ... loads of emotions were freed and i felt i was walking on air for two days! I have since learned to give great foot massages - the foot is an area that lots of people tend to forget about as being in need of tlc....
Silk...mines was just a 10min taster but she did identify a few things about my emotions and said my feet were LOVING it..she could tell i was on my feet alot and said they were like "ooooh" hehe. I really want a full session. Id love to learn it actually, aswell as facial reflexology xx
Deffo Tinks, if you have the time and money go and learn how to do it properly. It would always be a wee earner to fall back on when in times of need. You could always practice on me.... lol
Ok. Confession time and I haven`t had a drink tonight. Some years ago I realised how lovely it felt to walk barefooted on a pebble beach. I bought a washing up bowl and a bag of pebbles. I half filled the bowl with the pebbles and I cover them with warm water. Ten minutes of "pebble-treading" feels wonderful.
The only up side of putting on a few pounds lately is more pressure on the feet.
Explaining the bowl of pebbles in the kitchen is another matter.
I hate my feet because they hurt and I can hardly walk on them because of arthritis in both upper feet. Some days I would gladly by rid of them. They are extremely painful to touch a foot massage would be the last thing I want.
To give sore or tired feet a little pick me up, get a golf ball and use the sole of your foot to move it around the ground in little circles - #tip of the day :-)
AYG - did they use that little wooden gadget that looks like a miniature honey spoon (with the grooves on it) and grind it into the side of your toes? Painful isn`t it?
