ok, This is hardly a Romeo story here, but I kinda like a guy, who's cockeyed. I haven't told anyone merely because I din't want vain people to give unwanted opinions. I told my friend we was texting and she laughed at me. Why am I so worried about peoples reactions? Does this make me vain?

I think your friend is shallow...dont follow her lead, follow your heart! if you like him enough it would not bother you!
Is he a good person...? ...
I think its human nature to care what other people think, but if you genuinely like him then so what! Go for it.
What Smowball wrote.
You like him. That's all that matters. If your friend is judgmental about him, then she's probably not much of a friend. I think we all worry too much about what other people think, but ultimately it doesn't really matter.
Is it the cock eyes that pay the bills? as long as the person is good with you, go for it Spots.
Lots of women seem to fancy Russell Howard and he has a 'lazy' eye. Why should it matter if he's a nice bloke?
If you like him it should not matter what people think - end of
