That's probably why my palpitations started in my mid-twenties. I first got them when I was pregnant, and I think I've been anxious ever since! Once you give birth - your life is one long anxious moment! (worth every minute, I hasten to add). But, seriously, the caffeine played a big part. I think once you become a mother you are very aware how important being well is, both to look after yourself and your children. If you're not worried about yourself, you're worried about them.
