Getting Rid Of Frustration.

After a busy and frustrating day I have relieved the tension by shredding all photographs of nasty ex daughter-in-law over a glass of wine. I feel so good!

bashing away a bucket of balls at the local golf range does the trick!

Why does shouting a string of swear words make us feel so much better than shouting a string of nice words?

It has been scientifically proven that swearing out loud heightens a persons pain threshold... maybe it has a similar effect on frustration :) I know it helps with my road rage!

Maybe people carry a kind of tension when they have to choose acceptable and appropriate language in public. Having a good swear is a wonderful release. I go to a cliff edge and swear at the North Sea.

I run and run until I drop ... through the shallows, where it's cold, wet and muddy ... it's a really effective frustration buster.

Could be Seadogg. I have a friend of many years who has started to drink too much making him quite rude and insensitive. I stay calm and pleasant in his company but do I let rip when I get home.
