Two c.section and one ectopic scar navel to pubic bone almost forty years ago. Barely visible and tummy flat as a pancake soon after. Hysterectomy twenty five years ago. Requested another up and down cut and surgeon agreed. Then clown proceeded to do a bikini line cut. Like lottie`s it went wrong and now have a lop-sided wibbly-wobbly tummy. IMO and experience muscles work better to flatten tummy with up and down cut.
I now have a lopsided wibbly wobbly tummy too. They tried to put in right with lipo suction, etc. on the National Health because it was their fault, but I ended up with an even more lopsided wibbly wobbly tummy and an incisional hernia, which I have to live with.
Do you think Lottie that the wibbly woobly tum comes from fewer and weaker muscles in that area? You probably had slower healing as I did with it going wrong. The side where I had the problem is the side that wibble wobbles.
Expertise of surgeon for sure. My first three were done by the same chap and were excellent. The fourth was a bit of an odd-ball. He refused to come and speak to me afterwards saying I couldn`t expect the same treatment here as I got when I was in the Canadian Air Force!!!! Well I did fly to Canada on holiday a couple of times but the pilot flew the plane.
