Best customer service has to go to Lush... they are always so lovely when you go in.
I suppose I don't like the girls at the make-up counters in Harvey Nicks, House of Fraser etc... They always seem so stuck up!
Saying this, I do think it's a bit unfair to tar a whole company with the same brush if you've had a bad customer service experience. It's down to the person isn't it? I always did very well with customer service.. It's the only thing I miss about working in a shop!! :)

Morrisons is horrendous for customer service in my area - I have complained and I don't do my weekly shop there. Tesco online is the way I generally go and the delivery drivers are ALWAYS really good, always have a smile and always 'happy to help'. I think customer service is generally down to the person though - some people are just really good at it and others just don't care at all.
Waitrose is excellent. The staff are invariably friendly and helpful and if you can't find something , will stop what they are doing and lead you to it.
John Lewis , the same company, is equally good.
Worst? PC World. If anyone can be bothered to serve you, their sole priority is to sell you the article that brings them the most profit, either generally or in commission, quite regardless of what you need, and then sell unnecessary extras as a bonus.

One of the ways I judge a store is - when you ask a member of staff where to find something, and they take you precisely to where the item is located, then 10 out of 10. But if they simply wave their arm in the general direction, and say something like, 'third aisle, and you'll find it on the right', then I'm not at all impressed.
I must be fortunate with the stores in my area. Staff in all of them will go to considerable effort to sort out any problem I might raise. (Maybe it's because the folk round my way are generally nice!).
