Awwww i am just NOT a morning person....

I hate people talking to me when im just up!!

I got up for a pee earlier and as soon as my feet touch the floor mum thinks i am now up and comes in talking ...rubbish....loudly!! And asks whats up wen i can only mumble a reply- IM NOT UP YET!! Aaargh

Then the to-ing and fro-ing starts from my room and talking loudly to the dog- on the phone!

I repeat i am NOT a morning person - i should be left alone.

Whos with me!???

I'm not *too* awful first thing - as long as I get a moment to make/drink a pint of tea fairly early in the proceedings.

There does seem to be an 'air of moral superiority' about early risers though.

For some reason working/playing late into the night and then getting up a bit late is regarded as less worthy than departing to bed at 9:30pm and being up and...

Not up yet!!

Id rather not be spoken too till i arrive downstairs lol

When i worked in town i got the same train as my mate but a different carriage cos i just wanted to not talk and read my paper- too early !!!
I like getting up early but hate talking to people.
I dislike talking to people no matter what time of the day... I'm a sociable creature eh.
As soon as I open my eye I am wide awake, the very first thing I do is get dressed and have a lovely walk with the hounds before I do anything, from walking up I am out with the dogs within 5 minutes, rain or shine. I have never been one to lie in bed.
I'm happy to talk to people at any time - except when I'm working.
If we're with you, do we have to talk to each other?
OK, my eyes* I do have a pair!
I am up early..usually between 5-5.30am...put kettle on...run anything recorded from previous night as I go about with the duster etc..cleaning and listening..washing on during breaks ..and out weather permitting...still in my jammies...all housework done before oh emerges....on ab inbetween to see whats the gos !!!..all done without having to speak to anyone !!!
good Lord MM seriously? I'm not even capable of moving my limbs for several hours after waking up.

I just need left alone to wake up. I dont want to listen to crappy stories that i dont care about or small talk. IM NOT UP YET!!

Even if im out of bed and go downstairs a "morning" is enough untill im fully awake lol x
boo...yup ..proper little stepford wife in the mornings..but also like to get to bed quite early too..usually by 10pm....
My OH is the same as you. I've learnt over the years to give her at least 1 hour before I start talking, it's safer that way!!

I'm the other way round, fully fit and raring to go as soon as I wake up. Was brought up short early in our married life by OH wielding a large carving knife and telling me to go away!!

You think theyd know me by now!!

MM you can clean away but DO NOT wake me!!!!!!!!! Dont come into my room and ask me questions when im sleeping and do not bang my door with your hoover....ok!? LOL xxxx
oi Tinks !!!...lift 'yer feet !!!
My son was just like you. You could only speak to him from lunchtime onwards otherwise you just got a grunt. Im an early bird and always cheerful first thing in the morning, no matter what the time. My OH is ok after a few cuppas and bfast
Takes me several cups of tea before I can bear to talk to anyone in the morning. Mr Frog has learnt that it's safest to bring me a cup of tea in bed and then do a runner.

For some reason working/playing late into the night and then getting up a bit late is regarded as less worthy than departing to bed at 9:30pm and being up and about at sparrow-fart.

If we night owls make a noise we are 'inconsiderate', but if the morning people bang and clatter about then it's 'time you were all up' ... grrrrr
