I posted a question on here this morning and have not received one answer. Isn't it odd that I feel a bit miffed that no-one has responded. Do other people feel that way when their questions don't receive any replies?

I think it depends on the type of question. If it's a question in certain topic (ie Law, Technology etc) you just need to be patient until someone with the correct expertise logs in.

If it's just CB question and no-one replies to me, I tend to think I've asked a really dopey question (again!).

Sometimes I find that I join in on a thread and no-one seems to...

Perhaps it's because you posted it in the wrong section.
I do feel the same when it happens to me but it does happento everyone. Some topics are very quiet compared to others and evenings are busier than Bank Holiday mornings.

What was your question?

LOL I expected crap to get censored there
lol lol dotty.................I didn't mean your replies :-)
I posted a question yesterday that hasn't been answered, so you're not alone. No. I don't feel miffed. I just assume no one has an answer.

Oh, right you are then.

Maybe when someone new joins, they should have a sort of mentor to see them through the minefield.

I marked yours as best answer, 2shortplanks because I understood all the words. There was no broccoli, sugar or any other word of vegetable origin.

How can broccoli be short for sh-te, when it's got more letters?
it's an AB peculiar
I just got an answer - so if you've posted it in the right section, there's still hope. :o)

What was your question anyway?

"How can broccoli be short for sh-te, when it's got more letters? "

AB operates a censorship filter which automatically replaces certain words with other, less offensive, ones. These replacements tend to be of a vegetable nature.
