I dream about a friend of mine who died, every few months and have asked him what it is like being dead, he told me you are still around and still feel everything, but not in a physical form. More of a presence. Not sure if it's my take on things coming out in dream form but I think there's something in it. The dreams about him feel completely different to the norm.
I don't know. I'd like to believe that there is life after death but I'm really not that sure. I'm not convinced by the traditional Christian concept of a heaven and a hell. If there is life after death I am more inclined towards belief in reincarnation. But I think that the highest likelihood is that there isn't life after death.
It's one of the reasons, smudge, that I don't support the death penalty. When someone has done something horrific I want to be sure that they are made to exist with it for a very long time. If there's no life after death then the death penalty is the easy option.
I do Smudge. A few reasons why. When my Nan died, my cousin went to have a reading done. The things she told my cousin what my Nan was saying to her are things she COULD NOT have known. I also know a lot of people who have had this happen to them when they have been to these types of things.
The other reason is that just recently, with a few of my friends, we did the ouijia board. I have always been really cynical about doing this and to be honest, petrified!! But a good friend of mine does it a lot with her mum and gets a lot of comfort from it. So she talked us all into doing it - i was really shocked the 1st time we did it. We apparantly were talking to one of my friend's granddads. And the 2nd time it was a friend's nan. Again, the questions we were asking were not questions that we knew the answers to, so we werent making it up. Also, the friends who's relatives came through to us, were in another corner of the room not taking part, so not as if they could have been doing it themselves. It was a bit spooky at first, but when i think about it it's quite comforting to know that no one is ever really gone.
