Changing the Loo Roll

Mandy's thread reminded me...

If someone else changes your loo roll, do they put it with the paper hanging the same way as you would, or the other way?

Which way do you do it? I always have it with the next sheet against the wall, to stop vast amounts being pulled off.

Im the only one who does it, so its only ever the one way, sheet over the front, thou i mite try it your way boxtops, see if its longer between loo roll changes!

I squish the roll so it's isn't round.
Now and again, I even leave a little pointed section to make it look pretty (note to self, get a life)
I used to have it against the wall but kept breaking my fingernails, hence the squishing.

Noooo - always the other way and never a problem cos I am the olnly person who changes it!! Cant stand it when everyone leaves the cardboard tube empty on the holder grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I started hanging it through the back, when a long-ago cat found out that he could unravel the whole lot with one scrabble!

Always have the sheet at the front. OH will put a new roll in the loo but never on the holder!

what do you do with your empty tubes? We either put them in the compost bin, or give them to next door's parrot - he loves them, shreds them to bits.

on the odd occasion someone else changes it, they leave the empty cardboard roll on the window sill, when the bin is beside the loo, why ???????

empty tubes go in the recycling bucket. Never had to think what to do with them when young alba's were at primary school :-)

My friend always moaned and said it that the last sheet should be away from the wall and not against it as I have it. I said to her that I didn't give a tiny rats @rse which way it is as long as there is roll available.

I put the cardboard roll in the paper recycling bin.

i am the only one who does it, and it has to hang paper out side, not hanging against the wall.

Paper over the top as it should be. I even change it round in other people's houses. lol

My Mrs always hangs the bog roll so that the sheet that you rip off is facing away from the wall, so on the very rare occasion that i do put a new bog roll on the holder I deliberately hang it the opposite way just to see how long it takes to get changed around lol.

why "should be", daffy? It's more economical to have it hanging at the back. Why should it be at the front?
