Can't Control Crazy Cursor
14 Answers
Help please.
When I opened my laptop up again at lunchtime, the cursor began to go crazy and uncontrollable. It seems that the whole of the desktop is "live" and anything it hovers over is opened up.
I've done a successful "system restore" but the same thing is still happening.
Can anyone help me to get it to stop please? It opened 19 blank Word documents in about 5 seconds and Google Earth so many times, the earth was coming and going!!

Just let everything rest for a little while, reconnect everything and then switch back on.
When you do turn on again, you will have to reconnect the wireless network connection.
I dn't know if that will work but try it and see.

I did what you suggested Tilly2 and it's worked!!! Not only that, but my icons on my desktop have become smaller and looks much better. I can see my wallpaper now.
Thanks very much. It just shows what hissy fits computers can throw and how a couple of hours on the naughty step really works.
Thanks again.
