Hi Sad not been around for ages and I know this is trivial but I play football 3-4 times a week so this is killing me just now!!!....
I broke/fractured my little toe 3 weeks ago and it felt like it was getting better(all i have done is tape it up) but now for some reason it is sore again! It is uncomfortable to walk on it and i hadn't knocked it or anything so not sure why the pain? Is there anything I can be doing to help it heal quickly? also all my other toes have gone black and blue and not sure why as they weren't hit?
Cheers

Shermi! Hi!! Nice to see you. :o)

(Sorry about your poor foot).
Identical injury (fell over box of wine in my case) - bruise spreads all over foot - six weeks to heal properly - absolutely nothing to be done except pain relief and ice

It was bloody horrible - you have my deepest sympathy ...
I agree with sunny-dave in that it needs rest and 6 weeks seems to be a reasonable time. I would suggest taking Ibuprofen 600mgms in one go for the pain.

Sqad is there anything about it getting sore again? just want to make sure it heals asap. I want to be back at footie next friday!!
sherminator.....sorry, there is no easy way out of this.........the recent exacerbation is certainly due to overuse.........you will have to be a patient "boy."
