As far as I'm aware they don't show results that the patient can interpret but store up all the readings and then are checked by the Doctor/Nurse Practitioner and results collated. Hubby was then called in at a later date for further consultation. They are a real pain when they go off during the night....Good Luck!!!!
I have had this more than once, when you go to bed try and put the actual thing on the floor if the pipe is long enough. If it is one that goes off every half hour, I managed to slip off the cuff to have a shower before it went off, and if I'm not mistaken it's every hour at night ( if you're lucky). It's not that bad, best of!
