I am very sorry to hear that.  Here is a website dedicated to sharing information on Meniere's Disease.

ask your doctor about Coxey Cookson exercises. They help in controlling the synptoms in many people. You will need to be referred to a physio to get them
Cawthorne-Cooksey exercises, even!  :-)
(groan) bad day yesterday, thanks for the correction Genesis ;-)

Hi,

Try joining this group:  http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/beyondlivingdizzy/

It's basically a group of people with Menieres who give some fantastic advice and support.  All sorts of ideas from low sodium diets to ginger to help sickness.

It's only recently been set up again after a previous one had to shut down but I used to go on that all the time and the help and support was just great.  Looked like I had Menieres at the time (my mum has it and I had very similar symptoms) but now appears that my vertigo and associated evil symptoms may be more MS/nervous system related.  Even so I still do a lot of looking into things for mum as well to try and help her.

There are all sorts of websites and the UK Menieres Society does a newsletter, Spin.

Hope this helps.  Take care, A x
