My girlfriend has been afraid about her period and I keep reassuring her that its the way of life, I mean, she had one before, and she is very smart to me, anyway, she is scared about losing to much blood from her period, I never had a girlfriend in the past 7 years so I don't know what happens or, yea, and I don't know why she is scared, I'm afraid, I admit, because, I just never had a girlfriend los that much blood, even though it may be a period, I am still scared, I know this is stupid, like all the other questions about woman I ask, because, basically, this is my second girlfriend, I had a girlfriend before, but, not one with a period this long, is it continuous? if not, how long? and is there a break period where she won't feel all yucky?

How old is she?
How long has she been on this period?
Why not suggest she sees her GP?
Can't she talk to her mother about it? It's just part of being a woman, nothing to be scared of. But she'd be better off talking to another woman about it, like her mum, or a teacher maybe
Has she started any birth control lately? As often you can get constant bleeding on the start of new BCP. Is she in any pain?
She should go to her doctor if she is concerned. With periods, it often looks like a lot of blood. But often it isn't.
is this is second ever period? i take it she's quite young then - her hormones will be flying all over the place and will take a while for her periods to become regular and/or consistent. Is there nobody she can speak to about this?
