Can prednisolone cause abnormal thirst?

Also, can it cause tiredness? Ok, I admit here that it's not me, it's my dog, but I suspect the side-effects would be similar. She's on a decreasing dose for ten days (now day three after initial treatment from the vet) following an allergic reaction.

yes it definitely does. She will drink more and pee more and also feel hungrier.
Allow her as much water as she wants and offer low cal snacks, eg a carrot.

YES IT DOES CAUSE THIRST AND HUNGER. I AM ON IT FOR CANCER AND CHEMOTHERAPY SIDE EFFECTS.HOPE DOGGIE IS OK. GIVE HUG FROM ME.
