I have a boots travel dryer thats 1200w its a bit old but guesss they must still do them .I got the OH to put on a long extension lead too as the plugs are never where you want them.
Just had a look boots have a babylis travel dryer 2000w for 14.99. Seems good to me.
The cheapest Best Buy in Which? is the Babyliss 5560DU (£19). It's very fast and lightweight.
Where is it you're going? I had issues with the change in something in the States and Canada (voltage or something) that my straighteners didn't work anywhere near as powerfully, sure it affected my hairdryer too!
I have a mark hill one, was bought as a travel one but I like it so much I use it at home - it is black with orange writing and I saw it in boots recently at half price (was tempted to buy another one incase mine breaks - was about £15!)
You'll need to take an international travel adaptor, too
