Hi I have just got home from my exercise class and as usual I'm really hungary what would be the best foods to eat after exercise and also at this time of the evening?

When I used to go to the gym at night, I would always either have chicken or fish with veg and steamed rice. I tend to go in the morning (before I had my ankle op) and have porridge with blueberries afterwards. I think so long as it has protein, carbs and releases energy slowly then it should be fine. I am no expert though!
Im always starving after the gym too....xx

Seems to defeat the object really exercise to keep the weight down and then come home needing to eat loads
I suppose it depends on what you eat.

Have some Special K
Cereals and yogurt.
Special K claims to be good for slimming, but it is higher in calories than corn flakes.
Fish chips and peas....apple pie and custard.

What difference does it make what you eat when you get home?
I think I would prefer to take Sqad's advice, and he knows what he is talking about!!
A big bowl of porridge made with water, no salt or sugar, is very filling and has very few calories.

What and undo all my good work the reason for going to the gym is to keep the weight down as much as I would love to eat fish chips and apple pie which I do on occasions but I think I will go with the cereal and yogurt or porridge ideas
