Can anyone give me some advice/information on bursitis of the hip. I have had this now since 2009 following a fall. I am on my 4th cortisone injection but nothing seems to relieve it.

In constant pain, when i'm in bed, walking, driving etc... It's really beginning to get me down.

I did pay privately and went and saw a fantastic ortho consultant, he gave me the 4th injection but within days the pain ahead come back.

Is there anything herbal I could try?

Serrapeptase will help kat google it, it's a marvellous natural anti inflammatory
I've had mine even longer. Much longer. I have been offered an operation, but the surgeon admitted that only 60 percent of operations for this are successful. 20 percent give no improvement, but you still hava a scar. The rest make it even worse. I thought those odds were so bad, I refused. I just make sure nothing touches that area - no keys in pockets, no sleeping on that side - now I have no pain unless anything actually touches it.
Physiotherapy made no difference, acupuncture was no help - but some people get relief from some of these treatments.
