Is there a brand which does permenant dye in bright vivid colours like pinks and purples?  I'm using Stargazer in Shicking Pink at the moment and it fades pretty quickly even though it's semi permenant.  Any help?

I'm pretty sure that there are no permantent bright colour hair dyes I'm afraid. Sorry about that...

Special Effects is branded as semi-permanent but stays put pretty well on my hair.  You can buy it at www.garment-district.com with reasonably cheap shipping.

Wella MATRIX  Expensive and only done in salons.

Go to your local wholesaler hairdressing supplies, i.e Sally's or Aston & Fincher and have a look at their range of hair dyes/permanent tints.

I use Wella Magna Lites but its only available at a salon.  Its for dark brown/black hair and the colours are VIVID!!  What you see on the swatch chart is the colour you get and they last for quite some time.  I know they do lots of reds and pinks.
