Hi all at AB,

For about a week or so, I have been having this dull ache across the left side of my upper body, it feels like it is in the bone just across my lower left shoulder (clavicle), it doesn't hurt but it's just there, a dull ache, it feels like I have pulled a muscle or something, but I don't know what muscles are there. What is worrying me more is that I have a history of heart attacks/cardiac arrest in my family. Can anyone put my mind at rest or tell me what it could be, I am really worried sick, but scared to go to the doctors. Can I just say, I have started dieting just lately and lost a stone. Thanks XXX

Unreal...I get exactly the same pain. Just occassionally, but it's a bit distressing. Don't think its heart. Just tension in the muscles in that area. Maybe from lifting the wrong way.

Just rememberd something MargeB, I pulled the wardrobes out 2 weeks ago, to vaccume behind them, must admit, haven't done it for a while...lol...thanks so much, I didn't put the ache down to something like that, it was only when I read in your message, lifting the wrong way. As I said in my first post, it does worry me about the heart attack/cardiac arrest thing in my family, but you have certainly put my my mind at rest, I think when you have this thing about the heart and things related to that, you do worry. Anyway MargeB.....thanks so much.......XXXXXXXxx
I'm another one who has that sort of ache LpL.( May I abbreviate? Tell me if it's not cool) It is muscular as far as I can tell. Have you got anyone who can give you regular 'kneadings' in that area? Not too hard mind. Believe it or not exercising a damaged muscle can be good for it too. Many people 'favour' the damaged area and use it as little as possible, thereby prolonging the suffering. You can only try and see. (I know you didn't invite solutions...sorry)
ooo, that's good Lou, any time. Not a nice pain though, is it.
