Sleep - why is it so hard at times?
6 Answers
I've already been awake for over 36 hours. I couldn't sleep last night partly because of the heat but mainly because I had stomach pains that wouldn't go and made it hard to get comfy.
I am really ready for a sleep but when I went up and tried earlier I was restless. So I came down to watch something on my digi, and that I ended up rewinding a few times because I of dozing off and missing bits.
So I went up again and I just can't! why, it's so annoying. I am literally dead on my feet here, not fit to do anything even typing this out (taken ages correcting spelling) and yet I can't just drop off.

They both contain caffeine, which stays in the system for hours. You could try eating a turkey and lettuce sandwich, with a glass of warm milk, all of which are soporific. I have tried many things over the years, to no avail. I sometimes find that I can nap for an hour in the late afternoon, when my Dad is asleep, but only if I read for about an hour first. It's very difficult I know and my suggestions will probably be of no use, but it's worth a try.
I go through phases!! I try decaf tea now instead, try not to eat anything caffiene containing, lavender On my pillow, warm baths...
