HELP!!
My hair was naturally dark brown but has been dyed a few coloura, and for the past year it has been black. A few days ago I wanted a change, and a few hairdressers told me to use colour b4. I did and the outcome was a patchy black, brown, ginger colour. I tried to dye it a medium brown to atleast get rid of the patchy colours and it turned completely black! So i used the colour b4 again and the blotchy colours came back but worse! So i tried to use a lightener (BIG MISTAKE) my hair is now orange, yellow, white, brown and black!! What can i do to get it atleast normal, just anything other than what it is right now! I start a new job in 3 days and i need it sorted for then.
Thanks for looking hope you can help!! x

Go to a hairdresser, go today - stop trying to deal with it yourself. At this stage, you need professional help.
^ PS this happened to my friend a couple of months ago, she was in the hairdressers six hours trying to get it right - go now, don't waste any more time on here.
I really wish these colour removers would put a warning in very large font on the boxes about this. If you have coloured your hair with anything other than a vegetable/temporary dye it will always go a shade of orange after using a colour remover.

Thanks very much. been to the hairdressers but nobody has any appointments till monday and most said that may be too late. A few have said i could dye it black myself and with a deep clean and condition it should be ok. i hope so anyway. i wish they put it on the box too! Thanks again x
Exactly the same happened to me the other day. I use a hair dye I get in the States called Natural Instincts (by Clairol). I just use the 28 washes one in Clove just to enrich my hair colour a bit. I decided to get something more permanent so I got Nice n Easy (Clairol) in medium ash brown. My hair went black. It was the day before I was going to work. I went to boots and got Decolour (by the same guy that does B4). It went bl00dy ginger! By this time it was about 10.30 at night. Thank God for 24 hr Tescos. I went back and got the Nice n Easy light ash brown and stuck that on. It went back to pretty much how it was in the first place. Beware, if you try to recolour it, you`ll need something much, much lighter than you normally need. Apparently, washing the hair first a few times with something high ph like washing up liquid opens up the hair shaft and makes it easier to wash out dye.
