I know it is relatively old news, but I couldn't help notice a few things about the stick insect's recent prang with Silly I am and felt it might just be a glorified publicity stunt to put them back in the public eye. Am I a tad cynical? Definitely.

A cameraman was on hand to catch the accident as soon as it happened. She left hospital wearing a neck brace but was otherwise unmarked. She boarded a flight the next day wearing a sling intead, (where did that come from and who diagnosed that injury?). Finally, who in their right mind believes she could or would eat a McDonalds? If she ate a tin of beans she would come out in lumps!

Or she tipped them off as to where she was going? It was the early morning and they opped out unexpectedly for a burger, allegedly. I did say I was a cynic.

They got their happy meals and Cheryl noticed that a pap had blocked the exit

"Awww pet ya cannae get oot now, ya ganny have te wait"

To which he replied "Will.I.Feck"....Bang!!!
