frozen shoulder
6 Answers
wife has had a very painful shoulder for the last 4 months and we have just got back from the hospital to see the specialist who confirmed that it was a frozen shoulder. he has told my wife that he will in the next 4-6 weeks get her in for an appointment to have her put out for 10 mins while he manipulates her shoulder and puts an injection in her shoulder which should solve the problem.
will it work and how long will she be off work and obviously will it be very painful and finally will the shoulder be ok afterwards?

LOL...that was for your final paragraph.
Will it work?...over 90%chance and that is a good result in surgery.
It will take at least 3 months to resolve completely and when she will be able to return to work will depend upon the type of work....ask your surgeon.
Yes postoperativ ely it may well be painful for about a week.... tablets should relieve...
