I certainly don't want one, I think any tattoo is a mistake.
Good laugh on holiday, an elderly gent said to an otherwise pretty young lady - "Oh dear, love, looks like you've been lying on a newspaper, the print's come off all over your back...." :-)
Tattos are fine on native australian people and the like but they are a little bit 'chavy' on anyone else
Despite the fact that (I believe) HRH Prince Phil has one from his navy days
I told both my sons I would write them out of my will if they got one
I also said if they did I would get one (like Becks with their names) and to emphasis it I bought some temp tatts from Ebay - sat there with a Manchester United logo on my arm one night - very classy
I really regret having my tattoo (got it at 18). It's one of those ones that may very well say kung po chicken. Luckily you can only see it if I have a bikini on or something but I'm still considering getting it changed.
After many years I still love my tattoo, but it does need re-colouring at the moment. I don't think having or not having tattoos is anything to do with cool...........
I had my first at the age of 35 after years of wanting one. I love it and will never regret having it done, or the other three...or the one I will be having done as soon as I have some spare cash! [though that will be the last]
I am neither a chav or following the crowd, I wanted one so I got it. Simple.
