We have a history of letting these people in, indeed we have only just got rid of some. It is highly likely that many Pakistani's will be appalled and so the poor little Taliban hero's life may become in danger, thus allowing him to claim asylum here. Would not be the first time.

It is not intended to be a story, it is a question off the back of this news event that is valid and should be raised. Unless of course you are a Taliban sympathizer or hand wringing liberal (not much difference between the two)

I'm still baffled by the question. It's possible the reference is to the Taleban spokesperson quoted in the report although I'm still not clear why anyone would think he is coming to Britain.
