nautical 111 year calendar
8 Answers
i've just been having a sort out where i have found 2 brass dials in a wooden box with an old yacht image on the front.
inside the box are 2 brass dials.
the 1 is a calendar that runs for 111 years and runs from 1956 - 2067.
i'm trying to find out what they are exactly and if they are worth anything as i don't seem to be having much joy from ebay or google.
the 1 dial actually states "111 year calendar 1956-2067" the other i believe is a sundial.
on the bottom of the sundial is some patterning but its really dirty and marked and cant make nothing out from the bottom.
does anyone know anything about these items or know something we usually keep at home that will clean brass without damaging it.

time zone calculator is bang on for the other dial has it lists all the cities in the world.
its a very nice little item, i was thinking of selling but as it seems to be worth very little i will put it to my shipwreck items collection.
many thanx for the info :)
