Ingrowing hair

I've got a disturbingly deep ingrowing hair on my bikini line. It's super deep and has decided to swell up and go all sore and infected looking. I googled it to see if I can do anything, and all sites suggest attacking this thing on my own. I'm too scared to go anywhere near it, it's very angry and sore and inflamed. Bloody painful. It's got a lump and a little white spot in the middle of the lump. I'm dying to bust it but it's too sore. A trip to the doctors for me tomorrow. Eeek. I'm scared because I know how deep this hair is, I seen it months ago and thought it would just grow out. Scary biscuits... :/

Go the doc - it needs treatment now. Sounds like a pilonodal sinus, don't mess with it.
