theatre placement

Can anyone recommend any book/journal/website that will give me some knowledge before I start my theatre placement? There is stuff on the hospital intranet but I cant access that until my placement starts and I would like to SWOT up now as I am starting to panic a little.

don't worry about it - placements are meant to teach you. They wont expect you to know everything, perform brain surgery, then look after all of the recovery patients on your first day. i remember that feeling of panic that i had before every placement, because it's like a big leap in the dark, will you fit in, will people like you, will your mentor be nice and so on
