Doctor Diagnosing Migraine

I went to the docs today as a follow up to a visit last week about almost daily migraines. She's put me on Amitriptyline daily and Sumatriptan when needed but I found it odd that she didn't check anything else, like my weight or blood pressure, etc.
Is that pretty standard?
