The antibiotic drops are obviously working - pain gone and general soreness reduced - but I still can 't hear properly .
Surprisingly debilitating - has made driving the car a bit of a trial and reading on the PC is (oddly) not very pleasant either - hence my absence from here for a couple of days.
Sorry to hear that Dave. My Mum has had a similar problem for some time. Have you tried taking dairy products out of your diet? Dairy is well known to cause extra catarrh, which then bungs up your tubes.
I know I get boring recommending this but sterimar spray is excellent for unbunging sinusses and should help to drain your ear. It goes up your nose NOT in your ear lol.
Most of my children suffer from glue ear (which bungs their ears up) and I was told by one of the doctors that one of them has seen to use Karvol to help open up the various passages and tubes even if they haven't got colds. Might be worth a try.
And there I was thinking you were quiet because you were hanging out in Brighton, in your figure hugging, v-neck t-shirt and leather trousers.....trying to blend in.
the nurse practioner i saw last week gave me an antibiotic stray for my ear , i assume to stop the tinitus that she thinks may be caused by a red ear, but it's not worked : (
