Four weeks ago, I returned from a fantastic holiday in Tenerife intent on taking myself in hand. Since then, I have touched not a drop of the old amber nectar, cut out baking altogether (except for Sundays), cut out butter and cream, and increased the amount of fruit I eat. And I have lost (quick fanfare) 20lbs!

A small reward doesn't go amiss too. Well done for losing what you have, now take it at a slightly gentler pace.
I know it's a fast weight loss, but, unfortunately I have got a lot to lose (at least four stones, unfortunately). I lost 7lbs the first week, then 5, then 4 on the two consecutive weeks. I really haven't cut down that much on what I eat, but I am trying to eat real food (instead of a twix for breakfast, for example lol). I know that 2lbs max per week is the ideal, which I know is probably all I will lose in future, if that.
