high st. shops/online retailers that cater for huge blokes? my 19yr old son is 6'5'' and built with it (he does look like the proverbial outhouse) and is finding it difficult to get clothes. he has a 36'' inside leg/38'' waist and arms like.....i don't know what!!! he's always been self-conscious and his size doesn't help that, but his clothing at the moment is dire.....he's been shopping at primark etc. as he is a student, but the clothes really don't fit him properly at all. i would like to start him off properly (by getting a little stuff from my next account)....but where else can he shop? any advice would be great. thanks x

My nieces husband is 6'5" as well, he reckons he's never been so well dressed since she discovered Jackamo
This shop is good

http://www.osbornesbigman.co.uk/
I don't think we are allowed to advertise but there are others mentioned.
I don't have shares in it!!
not High&Mighty for a 19yr olds their stuff is OTT priced and old fashioned.
Wellesbourne market - if you are ever near Stratford.o.a - huge outdoor market with several stalls of clothes for big chaps. One of my brothers has a 50 inch waist, the other a 60inch waist, and I could get clothes, belts, shoes, boots for both of them there. Very reasonable prices. Saturdays and Bank Holidays only, though.
I think TK Maxx do odd sizes.
there is a mail order company that sells trendy big clothes called JACAMO which Johnny Vegas advertises on tv
also have been a shop SIZEDWELL at Rayleigh Weir Essex their stuff is good and they do mail order, but as you know all this stuff doesnt come cheap, both of these can be Googled, dont think TKKMAXX has much they only seem to go up to 3X.
do you know anyone going to the US ? if so give them dollars and ask them to bring back half a dozen tee shirts big over there is big and fairly cheap.

thank you so far! i think jacamo is a good option as it is not outrageously expensive! i feel that my son is resisting shopping in these places as he thinks it will make people think he is fat! (how they will know where he is shopping, i don't know!). i have sent him the links so far and will try to encourage him to dress appropriately - bless him, he doesn't have much dress sense, anyway! thanks x
SORRY ,post got chopped should read "which Johnny Vegas advertises on tv"
TKMAXX usually only go up to 3X but not much stock,
US tee shirts are good value for money.and dont shrink and go up to 8X.
icg I agree with your son about "type cast clothes" Iam big but will never ever shop in Evans too many fat ladies in same clothes, I can spot an Evans outfit at 50 paces, prefer QVC.

hi, dee sa....unfortunately do not know anyone going to the states. my sone is a 2xl/3xl max due to very broad shoulders and big chest (but he's not fat, bless him!). jacamo looks really good and won't be budget blowing for him x
Be careful when shopping on Jacamo's website, lcg. My Nephew bought some jeans and his bank account details were lifted and money taken from his account.

I have used these http://bigfishclothing.co.uk/ in the past too.

thanksagain, everyone for your help. it's enough to get him started and he's keen to look after a nice long chat about things. seems his self confidence is pretty low....so we'll start doing things about it. x
Marquee's R Us.
My bro's a big guy too, but he can get clothes from M & S, Asda and Cotton Traders that fit him. He's 3xl and Cotton Traders do up to 5xl.
The rest of my answer has gone off the end .........
