flip-flops

What's the quickest way to soften a leather strap on the front of a flip-flop so it doesn't cut in? Do other people have a problem finding summer sandals that don't hurt your feet? It's made worse because I have tender scars across my feet due to an operation.

A colleague bought me a pack of Scholl Sore Spot - Moleskin. You can cut it to the thickness of the straps and then stick it in the underside so that you have a soft lining against your feet rather then hard leather. It has really worked and after the sore bits that we already there went I was able to wear them without any discomfort at all. It's really good stuff and only about 2 quid from boots i think.
