Cut On Hand And Shaking Hands

Hi

I am a bit of a worrier so hear me out with this........

recently I shook hands with a stranger, and it wasn't until after that i noticed I had a smallish cut on the finger next to my little finger (about half the size of a rice grain. It is about 7/8mm slightly to the left below the nail. When I noticed the cut on my finger there was dried blood around it but I'm guessing the cut was relatively fresh as I never had it earlier that morning. I didn't notice any cuts on his hand but then again I didn't look to notice any.

Am I being ridiculous about this or is there an opportunity for contamination

I am slightly concerened about HIV and stuff

The guy was just a builder that came round so he could be completely healthy. Its just playing on my mind. Could be me being silly but just thought I'd ask on here.

What are the chances of catching anything?

Was this builder blinged up? Just wondering if you could have scratched it on a ring or something. Not likely, but you never know!

I shouldn't worry about it too much, unless of course, you start foaming at the mouth and your hand starts turning black and looks like it's gonna fall off...
