My dog has a tummy upset now and again but is usually sick and that is the end of it.
At the weekend however she had a dicky tummy and was in a lot of discomfort. She couldn't settle herself and was trying to find a place to hide.
In the end I had to take her to the vet. She has a heart condition and I wasn't sure if fluid had built up in her body but fortunately there wasn't any there.
The vet gave her three injections in the neck and within two hours she was back to normal and ate a little food.
Has anyone ever experienced this.

yes my dog was like this last september she was fine when i got up but 3 hours later she couldnt stop being sick took her to the emergency vets as it was sat afternoon, 2 injections and a bottle of antiacid mixture and she was back to normal by tea time
what did the vet say was wrong?
My boys get tummy bugs because they eat rubbish, my vet tend to give an , anti spasmodic to stp the sickness and diahorrea, an anti inflammatory, and an antibiotic injection which is 3 but they might not be what your dog had.

The vet didn't say what it was as she hadn't been sick or ate anything out of the ordinary. She is getting on so doesn't spend ages in the garden on her own. Just goes for a wee and back in.
Just when the vet put the stethoscope on her tummy, she growled so she must have been in some pain.
She hadn't had any unusual toilet habbits or anything.
We had an appointment the next day for her heart so I had to keep that appointment and she was checked over again but she was fine then.
I thought maybe it was trapped wind.
Could be a touch of Colitis, if it is something she gets regularly I would give her a probiotic like Yumpro.
