What Do You Do When You're Feeling Stressed??

Feeling so stressed tonight, I feel so on edge and shaky. What do you do to switch off when you feel like this?

Pour myself a glass of wine.
Eat a bar of chocolate ..have a glass or two..read good book...have hot bath ..go to bed and wiggle my toes ...

Ah I don't drink so that's not an option for me lol.
Replace wine with hot chocolate..
Hi, try distraction, of any kind Miss Commando, move from the room you are in to another, try a different task, do online puzzles, take a bath, pick up the phone and chat to a friend. Anything to distract you. That's what I do. Hope you relax soon xx
But you MUST eat chocolate. Everybody does. Don't they?

No-I wish I knew also....I seem to be permanently stressed lately.
Try to chill out relaxing to suitable relaxing music. Try not to spend time mulling over whatever is stressing you out. Perhaps even use your imagination to take you to a suitable relaxing environment in your mind.
Actually-deep breathing or breathing into a paper bag may help. Re-oxygenate your blood. It may help you feel calmer.
Think about Summer. Works every time.
Go for a walk with Carakeel and dogs or go and have a few words with the chickens, I must admit, I dont believe a word they tell me though!
Would love toget tips too! Currently trying the hot bath and good book philosophy
Lie on my bed and listen to music... No distractions :)
Usually pour a large scotch, sadly I've given up the booze for Lent, only 45 days to go!

Remember the good times.
I learned relaxation technique many years ago when I had anxiety problems - lie down, and consciously relax every part of your body a bit at a time, starting with your toes and going up to the top of your head. It takes practice, but it does work. Then I sleep.
