keep getting the auto pop up box Firefox wants to update to 18.0
however when go to install, it says the following,
incompatible add ons
some add ons won't work with update, and will be disabled
as soon as they are made compatible Firefox will update and re-enable
these add ons,
its listed as Kaspersky virtual keyboard, Kaspersky URL advisor
Anti banner 12.0.1.511
problem is i don't know what this means. If i go ahead with the update
is there something i am supposed to do? or it will be done by Firefox after installation, hope someone understands this.
I have Kaspersky internet security, and don't want it uninstalled...

If I read them correctly, seems to be some issue with the Kapersky version 2012 v 2013.

Hope that helps!
You could also try using a different browser such as Opera which may not have the same symptoms.

I dont believe it would uninstall Kapersky, it will just disable the Kapersky add-ons within Firefox.
e.g. this is the info on the items / 'what they do' that would get disabled:

If you are concerned, since you say that you are due an upgrade next week, you could wait until then before accepting the Firefox upgrade.

i am waiting for it in the post, tried in fact to download for free as my bank does it, but it's so flipping complicated, it was quicker to buy it.
The main thing is that there is some problem which i detailed the other day and someone else said something similar, i used to be able to see all my online banking transactions, i can still see the front page, but when click on to see each individual transaction it hangs the screen, and all i a left with is a little Barclays logo bar at the top, and can't even log out, cursor goes round and round. a pain in the behind, as it has worked fine up to last week. I think will wait to get the latest internet security package, install it and see what happens after that.

If not already, have you tried using another browser such as http:// www.ope ra.com which may have been mentioned in your previous requests? It might work with your online banking and maybe even with work the current Kapersky version.
Having said that, every time a new version of either Kapersky, or whatever type Web browser you use is released, its not certain whether they will be fully compatible!
If it was me I would try Opera as a test. If you try a similar test and that works for you, you may even want to continue using it, at least until you manage to update to the latest 2013 Kapersky.

i switched from IE way back on advice from users on here, because i was having major problems with it. Installed Firefox, and for the most part it has been ok, but all of a sudden this problem cropped up, about opening my bank transactions. If i open out IE which is still installed, i have to input all my bank account details, then it will open as i want. but i didn't want to keep switching between the two, i just don't actually understand why this one this has stopped working in firefox. I could try another browser, but that will be the third...
