What Would You Have Done With The Money?

I was in a taxi yesterday and the driver was telling me that last year he won £68,000 on the lottery. He went with his wife to Benidorm for a month and they blew the lot.
I find it mind boggling. What would you have done with it?

that shows a distinct lack of imagination, not Benidorm, why didn't they at least have a decent holiday, saved some for a rainy day, of which we have many.

That's spending over £1000 each a day - that's going it some.

I would give some to my favourite charities, buy each of my children a little run-around, tax and insure them, I'd then give them £1000 each for clothes, (I'd include no. 1 son's girlfriend as she's a student nurse and poor as a church mouse, but utterly delightful, take everyone on a nice holiday somewhere, and if there was anythin left, I might consider buyin a £4,000 telescope like my neighbour, what we were up till 3'o'clock this morning looking at the stars, it was fascinating.

Sell my house, take the profit, add it to the £68,000 and buy somewhere in the country away from people.
