Would these deal with bad pain from a sore hip?

I've not heard of this drug, it's got tramadol in it - I wouldn't want to take it unless it had been prescribed for that specific purpose - there are several caveats on the manufacturers' site http://www.medicines.org.uk/emc/medicine/22345/SPC/Maxitram+SR/#INDICATIONS

That's what it was prescribed for, Boxtops. I was wondering how efficient it might be.
It is just slow release Tramadol so should be good for hip pain. Make sure you take at the prescribed dosage though, don't miss a dose because you feel the pain has gone, as soon as the Tramadol wears off the pain will probably be back with a vengeance.
Sorry then, I don't know, I was interested to see what it was, though.
