I don't know about eyelash curlers but maybelline volume express with the bendy wand (in a blue tube) makes me lashes so curly I don't need curlers.  It last for ages too!!
I've had a few makes and I like Benefit's the best.  I've tried heated ones and they never seem to work very well so if I want a more dramatic curl I just heat them for a few seconds with the hairdryer, which obviously I wouldn't recommend as it's a safety hazard...:-)
Oh and I should say you can buy Benefit in Debenhams, House of Fraser and large Boots branches and probably some places online too.
I have tried others but I found the shiseido ones the best. Others misses lashes, doesnt curl nice curls (l have very straight lashes), get the skin when you try to go near the lid but this one is great. You can get them in most department stores.
I have 3 pairs (ordinary clamp, heated clamp and heated wand) and find the heated wand the best.  I use the Ruby and Millie one
I havent tried them but there are some at asos.com for 5.
Well, all i can say is don't buy heated ones! they do bot all lol just get a pair of cheap metal ones they all do the same job! xxx
Mine are from MAC, and they are the best.
