interesting birthday present for a friend

I was just wondering if anyone had any useful suggestions as to what to get a guy who'll be 23 soon.his interests include music ( big fan of elton john & michael jackson),art, NOT sport!

we have about E160 to spend.

ive been nominated to look after the present buying as there's a large group of us pooling together but i know him the best & there may be a bit of a "more-than-friends"thing going on aswell so i want to get him something that shows i put a lot of thought into it and which looks like i, in particular, had more of an input into buying than the rest of the gang.

hope that doesn't sound too complicated!

Anyway, anything interesting/unusual is very welcome!

What about a small piece of art done by a local artist?  Maybe a small sculpture or collage piece.  When it comes to my brothers of about that age they are always happy with alcohol (or a hip flask) but that could just be a phase they're going through (for years)! lol

There's quite a lot of music memorabilia sights online, try ebay or a google search.

My ex's friends clubbed together and bought him a surfboard, even tho he wasn't majorly into surfing, he was so happy he cried, it was just something he'd never buy himself. 

How about a guitar or flying lessons (red letter day), or a good watch, or a mini ipod ....

Could you get him to sit for an artist to draw or paint him? Or maybe take a few photographs to someone who could do this. Have it painted in a manner thay portrays his character or interests and put it in a good frame.

Don't name a star. It's a scam. The online companies that sell them have no naming rights whatsoever so all your paying for is a piece of paper.  And probably the company directors holiday.
