Pain On Inhalation.

Ive been shallow breathing for 2 days as its painful to take a deep breath. The pain (i think) is from my trapezium muscle in my back. Any idea how long this will last when its muscular?

One presumes that you are not ill, no temperature and no cough and if this is so then i agree with you it is almost certainly muscular.

You do not say if you are taking any painkillers.

Ibuprofen 400mgms minimum every 4hours if need be would help.

It should settle within a 10 day period.

Yes fit and well. I often have muscular problems in my neck and shoulders because they over compensate for my weak neck. However they don't normally affect my breathing. Getting married 2 weeks today!! (whey Hey) and hope the pain has gone by then!! I'll continue with the nsaids!! Thanks sqad and Happy Easter !!
