My son has been in bed all day with a headache (he's never ill), my daughter came round this afternoon and she also has a headache that won't go. I had a headache for 7 days from Thursday 21st march to 28th. Nothing moved mine other than sleep. :(
My oh was beginning to think I had a brain tumour or something, he wanted me to contact the GP but I hate doctors so just waited for it to go on it's own. It had me quite debilitated. I was very glad when it went!
Got any Tiger Balm, madmen? It stinks but rubbing it on the temples and forehead helps me. (It takes your mind off the headache with the stinging, too)
Paracetamol doesn't touch me, I take paracetamol and codeine. Go to bed, stop computing, and put a flannel on your head.
At least it isn't as bad today then. I hope it goes completely very soon :)
My son's head is still hurting and he hasn't even got up yet which is not like him at all.
Hi Jordy,
I wear glasses to watch TV, but I must admit I haven't been wearing them very often recently as I've been sitting quite close to the telly. I know that sounds ridiculous and like the obvious problem, but it's only now you mention it that I've thought about it :-/
Still got a headache today. Was supposed to be at the doctors in ten minutes but I'm stuck trying to fix a fridge freezer, and have food all over the place. Aghhh. No wonder my bloody head hurts.
Last year I had a headache for about 3 weeks - night and day - day and night - all the tablets I took no good. It will go away eventually - unless it is your eyes or migraine.
Thanks Conne :-)
It's very much on and off at the moment. I can feel it now, but it's more of a dull ache. Don't think it's a migraine, as I've asked about those before, and they sound pretty horrific.
I've given up with the painkillers, they weren't really making much difference anyway and I seemed to be popping them all day and night.
It'll go, I'm sure. As above, just need an early night and to be able to sleep.
