Love Your Shopping Trolly.

I went to a quiz night on Friday and, despite always needing to win the quiz, my heart was set on winning the raffle. Why? Because one of the many good prizes was a fantastic shopping trolley. Green and black stripes, wheels that mounted steps and....a fold down seat!
As the draw took place I clutched my tickets with hope in my heart. Yellow 239....bums...I had white 239.....Yellow 165......I had Yellow 175....Each winner..without fail... had a laugh at the beautiful shopping trolley and chose wine, chocs or smellies. I wanted the shopping trolley, the lovely trolley, but it went, and not to me. It was the last to be chosen....well forced upon the winner really, and was the source of much amusement at their table.
My friends moan if I take my shopping trolley on a day out and I have one friend who won't come if the trolley does......so aging she says. But who is the one without the red swollen fingers and sore shoulders at the end of the day? Who isn't lugging bags and trying not to lose any? Who has a free hand at the Wine Bar? Me with my trolley of course.
Are you happy to use a shopping trolley, ladies?

Lol, this reminds me of a 'brainwave' my daughter had when she was about 16. She wanted to market shopping trolleys for teenagers. Yes,I kid you not. They were going to have pockets for mobile phones, charging points inside,stereo's and speakers for ipods.....oh she had it all worked out,lol.

Unfortunately gness I think they are ageing too but my sister uses hers like a religion. If you are not well - sod the people looking at you - you are with pain - it is only until you get better.

No Conn....I'm well and use my trolley all the time......not aging at all. Being weighed down with bags is just silly......I can strut my stuff in the killer heels and sport my trolley with panache.... x

I didn't know that a shopping trolley comes with its own seat, that has won me over. I shall put in an order for one to arrive in 20 years time. Lol. :)
