Hi i wonder if anyone can help me?.  I had accupuncture yesterday for the first time for Repetitive Strain Injury.  I had the needles all up my back and in my wrist.  The thing is i woke up this morning and felt really stiff in my neck, shoulders and wrist.  Can anyone tell me if this is normal or if you have had any similar experiences?.  Thank you.

Poor Baby !!!!!!!!
Try rubbing some arnica ointment into stiff area.  I have acupuncture all the time and have not experienced this but everybody reacts in a different way and I m sure its normal.

Someone in the family had accupunture, it always feel more painful afterwards and the pain might get worst. The funny thing was we thought it didnt work after sessions of the treatments, it was still the same but couple of months later the pain was gone. You wouldnt notice the benefit straight away.

I reccomended it to a friend who had a bad back for years, (seen lots of doctors and other treatments). He didnt notice any better but worse, he said it was a waste of money (like I wasted his money) but all of the sudden his pain disappeared a few months after the treatments. Though he denied it was the accupunture, he claimed it was some painkiller, which I think its not. He was wrong at first and he just in denial. Ungrateful isnt he? I will think twice before helping anyone, now. Is hard to get the appointments for him because this accupunture therapist is a family friend and she is retired and does not see patience anymore unless its close friends, shes supposed to be very good.
If you have try other treatments then accupunture is very good but have to be careful choosing a good therapists.
