Pregnant And A Little Concerned

I'm 26 weeks tomorrow and in the night I woke up with the most excruciating pains :( they felt like period cramps which spread to my lower back and even between my legs. This is the first time I have experienced this and it lasted for an hour with pain radiating into my stomach. I'm currently being treated for a uti so not sure if related. Any ideas?

I had a UTI when pregnant and was sent straight to hospital.

Could be associated with UTI and there again ...it couldn't.

You have no vaginal bleeding i assume, so monitor the situation.

Thank you! No, had no bleeding and no other symptoms. I've been taking cefalexin antibiotics since weds so I'm hoping that the uti will clear up soon. Will keep an eye out for any other symptoms.

My doctor said that UTI's are much more painful in pregnancy.

climber...ah! thanks......it could also be due to the cefalexin.
