no, nothing unusual eaten today.
Why would anyone object to your medical query ann?
it might be a build up of eating something and your body has had enough, like strawberries or red smarties
Was it nice and sunny where you live yesterday? Prickly heat? Some sort of allergic reaction?
If you have any lavender oil give your itchy bits a wee rub over with it I promise it will stop the itching - I used it on Queenie when she had chicken pox - you haven't come down with that could you?
Question Author
dot, can you get red smarties ? puss, I never post in b,s, but a few weeks ago I asked a question and someone commented about me asking a medical question as I was a nurse, as quad would say '' no big deal '' :o
New pair of tights?
Some kind of heat/sweat rash perhaps? The fact that it is in the creases (back of knees etc) might indicate that.

nungate, its been peeing down all day :( my first thought was chicken pox. but just red at the moment, no '' heads'' on them.
Mosquitoes ?

Fleas ?
ha ha ann. As if a retired nurse doesnt need to ask any questions on health.
Got to laugh antcha!
Highly unlikely, but could it be scabies?
-- answer removed --
I'm no expert, but sounds like heat rash to me. I have psoriasis, eczema and allergies, but I only come out as you have described when in the heat, especially if getting a little sweaty.
Question Author
geez oh,,,,,,,,,,,,,,fleas scabies ? don't wear tights, in my professional opinion. I think it may be the dreaded lurgy.........im getting more itchy talking about it :(,

Do you have any pets or have you been near any or sat on furniture where pets have been?

Have you tried anything like an antihistamine to see if it would help?

How do you feel generally? Could it be some kind of viral rash?
Question Author
don't feel fabulous, still itchy, I think mild chickenpox. or nothing to be worried about,
